Ai Picture Explorer (AiPICX) - All-in-One app views, edits, enhances, manages and organizes photos -- plays multimedia too. Windows 9x users can have thumbnail features without a Windows upgrade. XP users will enjoy faster thumbnails and variably-sized thumbs; complete folders are also done in background to save you time. AiPICX can create thumbnailed HTML catalogs w/ contact sheets, comments, 3D buttons -- or simple Web Pages for Dummies. A Batch UnZipper (to extract multiple ZIPs unattended) and simplified networking support is included. Its Slide Album can thumbnail entire drives (supports a million slides) and organize images by similarity to find modified duplicates; proprietary Image Analysis can quantify picture quality, rank and sort images by thumbnail. Slide Album also creates slideshows (or presentations) with 173 cool effects, variable delays, windows-in-windows, gamma, background, rotation, comments and other properties (per slide). Its speedy viewer is unmatched; includes gamma, widescreen, zooming, fit-to-window options. JPEG Wizard creates tiny, high-quality files. Imaging tools include standard editing, collage creation grids; EXIF camera + JPEG comments; red eye removal; TWAIN cameras and scanners; instant wallpaper; variable print sizes / positions; smooth resizing; rotate-by-degree; screen capture; descreening; borders, image text, ... Automatic color correction, bitmap compute, histogram, unique smoothing and sharpening functions can combine in vast sequences to fix (e.g., backlighting, over-exposure, under-exposure) or enhance any image (e.g., glamour photography). Advanced filters include variable equalization + normalization, unsharp mask, RGB / HLS remapping, contrast enhancement, restoration, ... Formats supported: PNG, FlashPix, PhotoCD, Photoshop, BMP, PCX, TGA, WMF, DCX, Multi-page TIF (w/ anti-aliasing for easy reading), MP3, WAV, AVI, MPEG, MIDI, CD audio, WMV, WMA, ASF, more ...
