VirtualDrive Pro 10 is a CD emulator that copies a CD or unprotected DVD as a compressed image, or "virtual disc," and saves the file to a hard drive, a network, a USB device, or to a portable medium. The virtual CD can be played in place of the original disc, directly on your computer's hard drive, in any one of up to 23 "virtual drives" created by the software. You can load each of your virtual drives with a virtual disc, play multiple discs simultaneously, and move from one PC game or application to another without handling CDs or waiting for a loaded disc to spin up.

VirtualDrive Pro 10 replaces VirtualDrive and Burning Suite as FarStone's best CD emulation software. It has all of the features of VirtualDrive 10, plus CD/DVD burning, multimedia capability, and Virtual Hard Drive, which lets you run programs directly in RAM at speeds up to 340 times faster than your hard drive.

Virtual CDs can be catalogued in a searchable library. They run directly on your hard drive with access speeds nearly 200 times faster than CD-ROMs, greatly improving the performance of PC games and disc-based applications. They can be transported on a laptop computer or USB device and burned to rewritable CD-ROM as backup for your games and applications.
