The key feature of the Net Control 2 is a possibility to perform operations on several computers simultaneously.
New User Interface.
Remote Desktop: Extended functionality of Remote Desktop in View One Control All mode. When you use Remote Desktop to control several computers simultaneously, you can view screenshots of all remote computers (Tools -> Get Screenshots menu of Remote Desktop Viewer), clicking on screenshot, you will activate Remote Desktop session for selected computer. Additionally you can switch between computers using (View Next Computer/View Previous Computers commands of the same menu). Also you can switch between #Control only current# or #Control all computers# modes.
Remote Desktop support stretched mode, when image of remote computer's Desktop is stretched to best fit the Remote Desktop window.
Remote Desktop Viewer supports additionally commands #Save Snapshot to File# and #Print Snapshot# (menu File).
Remote Desktop: Toolbar is visible in the full-screen mode of Remote Desktop.
New Desktop Recorder tool:
Now you can record all actions on your Desktop, accompanying with voice remarks to use later as electronic manual. Records stored in internal Desktop Recorder file format, which usually occupies much less disk space than standard AVI files (may be easier deployed in the network), produced by other desktop recording software. Of course, you can send and play Desktop Recorder files on remote computers.
New mode for Net Control 2 connections: when #Autoconnect at startup# mode is selected (default), Net Control 2 Client will open connection automatically at startup; when this mode is turned off, connection will be opened only by double click on the icon or using Connections -> Open Connection menu command. Useful when you control large amount of remote computers and process of connection takes long time.
Macro and Commands menus are joined to the single Commands menu. Old Servers menu now is Connections.
New format of Batch commands: now batch commands are stored in the text file format, may include unlimited amount of directives and may be edited in any text editor. Old format of batch commands also supported.
Information in Events Watcher may be saved as CSV file (e.g. supported by Microsoft Excel).
Sharing Manager moved to Tools menu.
Thumbnails refresh interval may be changed in Options -> Interface
Support of multilingual interface for User components of the software and Remote Desktop.
Permissions for Net Control 2 Server. User can specify what features of Net Control 2 he allows to perform remotely.
For large files (above 1MB) Net Control 2 will use special mode of transferring, which allow to improve transfer speed in several times comparing with previous versions.
All connections are logged on User side (Windowsserv.log file).
Modified behavior for Message Box command (send message in dialog window)
Incoming Connection Filter allow use host names.
